About BGI Contractors

BGI Contractors was founded 1991 to provide construction services to the petrochemical industry in Southeast Texas. Since then, our capabilities have grown to a national level, including project management of engineering and design, planning and scheduling, construction, coordination of sub-contractors and quality/acceptance testing.

We provide services to the industrial and commercial sectors, specializing in applications for the petrochemical industry, both upstream and downstream. Our pro-active approach to the construction industry enables us to keep a well-trained, dedicated staff onboard that lends support and expertise to each phase of each different project. We believe a team attitude is just as important as experience and skills for all our employees and sub-contractors.

As a self-performing general contractor, BGI monitors quality and safety procedures constantly and places the highest standards on communication and teamwork… We are accountable to our clients. BGI’s commitment to quality and safety is proven by our ability to consistently meet clients’ goals. Our fab shop is approved by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to use the U, S, PP, NB and R stamps. We have an extensive safety awareness and rewards program and maintain an excellent safety record, with no lost-time injuries since we began nearly 20 years ago.

BGI has the qualifications and facilities to manage all types and sizes of construction projects and is centrally located with ready-access to interstate highways, railways and water front facilities for ship and barge access.
